Kirby has excellent organisational and management skills, with extensive
experience in the satellite and space sector. He is well qualified to advise
on operations, risk management and commercialisation issues in the space
sector.
Kirby is the Managing Director of Asia Pacific Aerospace Consultants. In
this role he provides broad consulting services to the commercial space
industry including market and industry analysis, risk management and
insurance advice. Before joining APAC he served as Director of Commercial
Operations at the Asia Pacific Space Centre where his role included
management of technical and commercial risks for the venture, and providing
advice on strategic development for the group. Prior to joining APSC he was
Managing Director of GIO Space, one of the largest space insurance
underwriters in the world. He provides unique expertise to the Capital
Technic Group team.
