BUSINESS ANALYST
– TECHNOLOGY VENTURES (2010)
This leading Australian venture management firm is looking
for a confident science based business analyst to join their vibrant team.
Location Sydney CBD
Salary Base plus superannuation
Role Science business analyst
Your responsibilities will involve the analysis of
technology business models and making recommendations for business improvement
and funding. Due to the flat structure of the team day to day
your responsibilities will be varied. You will be well supported by a manager
who has a strong focus on training and development and in turn you will be
encouraged to forge relationships with the various business divisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate coming straight from a
technology management or consulting role and has experience within a corporate
services organisation. The successful candidate will be a bright, switched on
team player, proactive in their approach with excellent communication skills and
proven ability to multi-task.

Responsible for
| Analysis of business cases |
| Preparation of financial, business and business models |
| Report writing |
| Advising clients on available funding opportunities and strategies for
successful application. |
| Facilitation and preparation of Government Grant Applications so as to
maximise client’s total business value.
Responsibility will include the preparation and submission of applications
including management to conclusion and any subsequent discussions. |
| Assist clients in identifying appropriate business structures to maximise
commercial value. |
| Maintain processes and procedures for the evaluation, recording and
reporting of R&D and related project activities. |
| Manage multiple client accounts. |

Education & Qualifications
| Science or engineering degree qualifications, with post
graduate qualification in business an advantage |
| Membership of relevant professional association |
Experience
| At least 3 years professional experience |
| Exposure to energy, ICT, biotechnology or other major innovation streams |
